Basic Illustration
Basic Illustration is a foundational course where students will learn the fundamentals of fashion illustration from the body, its features, how it moves and how garments fall on the figure. It is essential that a designer can articulate his/her designs via sketch so that ideas may be compellingly visualized to both the designer and the client.
During this course, students will be introduced to drawing a woman’s figure in the fashion sense and how the body is manipulated to show movement. The course will go over features such as the face, muscles, feet, and hands. Drawing of garments will likewise be introduced in this course.
